STORY BOARD SCRIPT
Parishti: In our establishing shot we wanted to do something abstract.
Jade: We have done an extreme close-up of an eye to get the effect that someone is watching and it is there to represent the warrior girl.
Gemma: Throughout our video we have the eye coming up now and then so the audience is reminded that it is still watching.
(Skip through slowly to picture 5- showing each picture along the way buy don’t describe them)
Parishti: In our picture 5 we have created this shot of the artist boots, so it keeps the audience wanting to know who it is and the panning of the camera slowly going up gives more of an effect.
(Skip through slowly to picture 7)
Jade: Then the camera flashes onto the ‘warrior girl’. This helps the audience establish that the warrior girl is going to be our main character as it zooms into her.
(Skips to picture 9)
Gemma: The next couple of shots are mainly of the band. This is because we wanted the audience to know that the band is also a main feature.
Parishti: For these shots we will be using a zoom in and out effect onto the instruments. This will be efficient for our audience as they will feel as if they are watching a real music video.
Jade: Here we are going to use a music bar to show the variation of the music and the different tempo’s. This is going to make the video look realistic and adds more of an effect.
Gemma: The next couple of shots are going to be our party scene of people dancing in a club. This is going to emphasis the drum and bass music.
Parishti: We then flick the scene back to the warrior girl walking towards the party and what she sees on the way.
(Skip 19)
Jade: We form an eye-match from the warrior eye straight to the graffiti artist to emphasis the filming and editing styles we have used.
Gemma: We focus on the warrior girl throughout her time in the club to highlight the words and lyrics in the song.
Parishti: It flicks to show the graffiti artist finishing his piece, this links to the fact she has finished her time in the club.
Jade: (Picture 30) Shows the small scene of special effects that we have used of the bar dropping, showing the effect the base has on the song.
Gemma: (Slowly move through picture 31-36) The next six shots in our sequence show the warrior girl finishing her time at the club, the band, song and the last few scenes on the club.
Parishti: (Picture 37) The use of iconography is key in the concept of the warrior and also relates to the song as it talks about a ‘warrior’ and independence and from then on it flashes snap close-up shots of the band as the song heads towards its climax.
Jade: (Picture 47) After doing the story board we have decided not to have the band in the photo booth as it is not a key element of a concept video and end it at the beginning where by the flame dies down and the eye closes.
