My Potential Tracks

Taylor Swift- Fifteen.

I chose this song to be one of the contenders in the choice of music video I wanted to do. I really like this song because it is a typical girl song and I had a lot of ideas that could have been used. The audience for this song would mainly be for young teenage girls. Attracting a particular type of audience is easier to do as we know the typical conventions of attracting a young female audience.
However, when we were told that we couldn't do a single that already had a music video, I couldnt use this song.

Chase and Status Feat. Maverick Sabre- Fire In Your Eyes.

When we were told that we had to chose a single to do a music video too, this was the first song that popped into my head. One of my favourite bands are Chase and Status. When it came to planning different ideas, I had a lot of ideas for this music video. As a group, we did end up choosing this single, and when it came down to sharing ideas, I had a lot to controbute and so did others in our group. This song had a broad audience of males and females- as Chase and Status and Maverick Sabre has a huge fan base. When we had to decide on a song and what style of video we were going to do; I really wanted to do a concept style- this is because i didnt want to do the traditional and usual narrative or preformance and this type of genre of song would be ideal to do concept.

 Paolo Nutini- Coming Up Easy.

This song, is one of my all time favourites and Paolo Nutini is one of my all time avourite artists. The reason why I wanted to do a music video to this single is because is such a soft and jazzy song, we could have had a lot of different ideas for it. Also, it could have been a really simple video however the simple camera shots and angles could represent meaning to the song. What would be difficult with doing this single is that we would only have a limited amountf camera shots as we would want to fit the song and the music video together perfectly.
