What I've Learnt From The Britney Experience

From the Britney experience I have learnt that it is very time consuming, a few seconds of filming one scene took a couple of hours to do. This is because; the lighting wasn’t that great or we had our ‘Britney’ away, even sometimes the camera didn’t want to work. However, I have learnt to be patient. It also made me realise that when it comes to filming my own music video, I don’t really want to have dancing or choreographing in it, as that was difficult to achieve in this task and to get everyone on time. We didn’t do much planning ahead, so when we were given the camera we didn’t really know where to begin. When it came to the dancing we had to get a group of people together who were willing to do it. This also was time consuming as we had to come up with a dance routine and make sure everyone was in time with the music and the singing. This part I enjoyed as we got to do silly things, and watch the boys dance around.
My experience from this will benefit me and my group when it comes to filming our own music video because I now know that it is very time consuming and that we will have to plan efficiently and effectively. Also I have learnt how to use the camera, which will be good when it comes to filming.
I don’t think that I had any particular strength’s in this preliminary task, as this was the first time I had ever done something like that.
Things that I’ve learnt from this task is to plan ahead, try not to stress out and to make sure we have enough time to achieve and do what we want.
